Lovely looks, Jess. I like a lot of them. I'm not a fan of H&m because it's the most " fast fashion" brand of them all, but there's a lot of other brands you showed. Those fisherman style sandals have always been a favorite classic look of mine. This time around they look very masculine and chunky , but, there are daintier versions like Anthropology and Everlane and I've had a pair of those in the past. Thanks for the great look book.

I love your channel and enjoy all your videos, but I really loved this one in particular. I appreciate the work you put in to show us how you would style the different pieces. I'm loving the white dress and white skirt trend; I have a gorgeous full white linen skirt from jjill that I bought more than a decade ago and it is still beautiful and on trend this year (hooray). I love the pink dress, but if you're having doubts you should probably give it a pass especially since there are so many other beautiful pieces that you have no doubts about at all. Thanks again!

Hi Jess, you look smashing in that yellow dress. Unfortunately, although lovely I wouldn't wear nearly all of these bits unless I was on hols, too much skin on show which I'm no longer comfortable with 😔. I'd love you to do a video of high street pieces that have short sleeves, I spend most of the week in the office and can't wear strappy/low backed items & struggle to find cool office, or confidence appropriate tops and dresses. I also want to ask you, I ordered the same dress you are wearing from nobody's child, I liked the shape but kind of packing, smell of the clothe and material made me feel that it was used. Is that me? it looks stark yellow on you but was not the same for me.

I purchased the Sézane caramel linen shorts and matching top and don’t even typically wear shorts but I do love the outfit. I also love the terra-cotta dress that you have in black. I love your style and easygoing, honest videos!

Lovely assortment, Jess and totally enjoyed this segment of window shopping. As to the subject of fisherman/cage sandals am not fond of their styles now and prefer the ones which I do own that I am embarassed to admit are at least twenty years old and have started to wear again since now on trend. Originally I had three pair (now only two) which at one time were my go-to travel shoes (when I did a lot of world travelling and never left home without taking a pair) that I found so comfortable as are in real leather, worked well on any terrain with their substantial sole (though not the lug type) plus with their open weave provided not only ventilation but protection to the toe area and if necessary accommodate late day swollen feet as well. Now with that being said; realize sneakers/trainers are also the current go-to for casual comfort but personally and with no intention to offend, I prefer my sandals to them in looks and versatility and cannot understand why they are making footwear so over-sized/heavy looking with some being just plain ugly. (From Canada and at age 78.)

I have been looking for printed linen items this summer, and found some good ones here and there. I could never be happy with an all solid-colors wardrobe, I love adding some classic prints here and there to make my outfits more interesting. I wear only linen in summer because of the hot climate at my location, and this summer, I finally have a full linen summer capsule wardrobe! That striped linen dress is very pretty, but a bra-friendly style would give me more wearing options. I only go braless at home; as much as I hate bras, I really need one in public because of my age and bust size. As soon as I get home, off comes the bra!

I love the fisherman's sandals, bought a pair from Zara last Spring , and have been wearing them ever since. BUT they are not all the same , some models are quite ugly and chunky , I agree.

The yellow waistcoat is lovely, and you should definitely get the Sézane dress in Terracotta. The Mango top is lovely (I have it already). 🙌🏻 I’m not keen on a twin set, matching outfit, but that’s because I feel like a kid! 😂 I’m with you on Fishermen sandals, they are ugly, and the square toe ballet pumps are not my thing.. Good morning from the U.S. Thanks for sharing your picks from some of your favorite stores. The fisherman sandals are a bit too bulky for my taste, but they can look stylish with the right piece. Yellow does not suit me though it looks beautiful with your skin tone and hair. Please share the outfits that you picked if any. The Sezane short set is my favorite. I wish I can send you some of the scorching heat we are having here in Scottsdale, AZ. 112 degrees on average!

Pale yellow is pretty, but no lemon yellow for me. I think the fisherman sandals with thinner straps and thin sole in camel would be very flattering with shorts and linen pants. Great video!❤ I love your style!

Hi Jess. There are some beautiful pieces in your high street picks but I do think a lot of designs depend on one’s body shape. The Sezane dress which you didn’t like for yourself would actually be perfect for my silhouette as I have a tummy and I prefer an empire style. I loved the knitted linen jumper from Kos and it would be perfect for our Greek autumn and winters! I actually like fisherman’s sandals but again, I have ‘difficult’ feet and just can’t wear dainty, strappy sandals. As always, we are lucky to have so much choice and are able to find pieces which we feel comfortable and confident in.💖🌸

Yellow looks stunning on you! I agree with you that the fisherman sandals can look too heavy and bulky however I did recently purchase a pair with finer leather which I love. There are so many different styles at the moment.

Hi Jess - some nice dresses but can't see me having any chance of wearing them any time soon in Britain! My high street buy last month was a Marks and Spencer cashmere cardigan with 20% off which I bought thinking I'd be wearing it in the autumn, but which I've barely taken off - yesterday morning when I went out the "real feel" was 8 degrees !

Love this style of video Jess, definitely make more please. I'm totally with you on the ugly fisherman & dad sandals trend, I honestly can't believe ppl spend hundreds on this highly unflattering footwear, they make Birkenstocks look dainty and ladylike by comparison 😅 the pink Cos dress is beautiful and can be styled for day and evening, like anything you should try it on to see how it fits and feels. Sometimes too much rooshing around the chest and bust can create unflattering bulges, but again, it depends on the cut & stitching. Only thing we need now is summer 😩

Very nice. I haven't bought alot for summer as we really haven't had the weather, even in mid France the weather has been more wet than warm. Ive bought a black linen mix cropped trouser co-ord for a wedding and afterwards its quite 50's/60's retro so bought a nice pair of sunglasses and a neck flower to wear with it. Currently in Yorkshire i am still in long sleeve summer knitwear!! X
